The Vernacular Registry is a small, self-appointed authority on two words that did not exist before 2026. It has no editorial board, no peer review, and no relationship to any dictionary of record. It is, in short, one person's bit — formatted with the gravity of an institution because that mismatch is the entire joke.
How a word is attested
A word is "attested" here the moment its creator decides it's funny enough to define properly: a real pronunciation guide, a real etymology, a full set of inflected forms, and example sentences across tenses — the same treatment a real dictionary gives a real word, applied in full seriousness to something that is not one.
